No real comments other than it's great to have all this info digested and collected; thanks!

Agreed!
Thank goodness the Willetts bypass is opening. I went through there in May, and it was just a nightmare.

That was the project I was most happy to see completed. Willets had a real traffic problem. Now to see how much breathing space their business district gets.

I can't tell if you guys are facetious or not, but *Willits
Am I the only one that thinks the one about private companies chipping in for an HOV lane is both bonkers and genius? I mean, why not sell naming rights? "Begin Microsoft OneDrive Express Lane". Seems like this, along with HOT lanes, is a step toward preferential pricing, like where the lane is reserved for subscribers and Choice Hotel Diamond members (enroll today!).
Not complaining, but curious: why put in the same headline multiple times from different sources?
Heh....managed to avoid most of that rumble strip installation on CA 49 when I passed through a week or so back. All I need is to listen to more road noise when I'm passing people... Never struck me as a highway that really needed a lot of lane departure warning with rumble strips. The only really mountainous part is between Mariposa and Coulterville.

That I can answer: (a) because I tend to save the headlines as I see them, and (b) sometimes the different articles capture different information, or have different accessibility (for example, I do a lot of articles from the LA Times because I subscribe there, but not everyone can read them).
