72 random photos from my brief trip to Charlottesville, Crozet, and Waynesboro last weekend. Some more photos of the scenery involved were posted on Flickr earlier.

Waynesboro is the furthest west I've gone in Virginia. I plan to go further soon.

Wow...there's a lot in your home state that you have yet to see! Good job on the photos btw.
Thanks! And indeed, I have the whole I-81 corridor to explore. I even plan to take a trip to remote Highland County sometime in the next few months.

Virginia's a pretty state. I've been in every county and independent city in the Old Dominion. If you like the mountains, you'll love Highland County. You will even be able to find a few cutouts there... :sombrero:

Great photos and actually I just first hit the I-81 corridor last Saturday from I-64 in Staunton to US 33 in Harrisonburg when I went to JMU. Before then I hadn't been west of the Charlottesville area.
Allow me to add my kudos. Very vivid colors and lovely scenery.
If you go wandering through the I-81/US-11 corridor you're bound to find a cutout (http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg36/jcm9572/Virginia%20Signs/DSCF3356.jpg) or two as well.
Quite a few (http://www.vahighways.com/cutouts/index.html) actually...
