The new "Granite City Crossing" (new name replacing the old bridge name of DeSoto Bridge) opened on Thursday.  It's the MN 23 crossing of the Mississippi River at St. Cloud.  The old bridge was closed back in March 2008 due to structural problems, which isn't surprising since it was a similar design to the I-35W bridge that collapsed the previous August.

Some lingering work, especially at the interchange at 9th/10th Ave (the "Lake George Bridge"), but 4 lanes are now open on MN 23.
