This was posted last week, but since there is a thread about Kmart store closings, I decided I should post one for Macy's:
http://www.cnbc.com/2017/01/04/here-are-68-of-the-100-stores-that-macys-will-close.html
68 stores will be closing, with 30 more unannounced locations planned for closure. Luckily none of the locations in Arizona will be closing at this time, although last month there were unconfirmed reports that the Tucson Mall location in Tucson is planned to be closed. Perhaps it will be one of the 30 additional locations that will close.
Still, most of my Macy's purchases have actually been on Macys.com when they have their free shipping over $25 sales. I used those opportunities to buy two IZOD Advantage Polo shirts for myself or friends/family at a time combined with a $15 off $40 coupon, which is essentially like getting two for the price of one without free shipping or coupons. Interestingly, only three Macy's locations in the Phoenix area actually carry IZOD (Chandler Fashion Center, Superstition Springs Center, and Arrowhead Towne Center).
Macy's is closing approximately 125 additional stores.

While I really haven't shopped in a Macy's in several years (my wife got a pair of shoes in there recently, but that's it), there are none even remotely close to me in NJ and the surrounding area that are on the most recent cut list.
