Title: California Big Green Signs
Post by: cahwyguy on June 24, 2017, 10:02:59 AM
I thought I would let folks know about this article on Big Green Signs in California: http://www.ocregister.com/2017/06/23/heres-how-you-might-see-california-road-signs-in-a-whole-new-way/

The reporter contacted me a few days ago to review an infographic (which is great) about the signs that will be in the print version of the article on Sunday. I'll likely scan it (if it isn't online) and do a post on my blog, but the article (esp. the online one) gives a great callout to a web site I'm familiar with (  :D ), as well as Indyroads.com .

Nice work! I'm surprised the article didn't talk about exit numbers, which is still a new phenomenon here, since the number of replacement signs with exit numbers have increased dramatically in the last couple of years.

The info graphic version that I reviewed (and should be in print on Sunday, according to the author) mentioned when exit numbering started, but didn't explain the numbers.
