A certain poster is unable to control said poster's obnoxious inclinations and the threads wind up locked to prevent their spiralling out of control, which is one reason why the forum rules ban political discussion except insofar as it's directly tied to transportation issues (I don't say "roads" because there's that mass transit subforum).
