Man, that bridge looks a lot like a railroad bridge with the tracks removed. Though, I'm sure it's just because it's one lane, something inconceivable on a US route today.

I know the last dirt US route was paved between 1962 and 1963 - US 183 in Nebraska.

There are some one lane bridges on US 159 in Missouri, or at least there were a few years ago.
I remember a one-lane bridge on US 62 in Mason County, Ky., that was in existence in the early 1980s. It has since been replaced.
