Isn't it "asymmetrical"?

To ColossalBlocks:  have you considered that topography or development or other impediments might be why some asymmetrical diamond interchanges exist?

First, why bother to rebuild what already exists and works?

But depending on what you mean by symmetrical, what axis or axes you are looking at, in many places a symmetrical diamond is impossible.  Unless the roads meet at an exact 90 degree angle, one leg is going to have to be longer than the other.

Interchanges - and most road features - look cool from the air.  But when we're on the ground, we're not going to notice little things like unsymmetrical diamond interchanges.

You realize the way you phrase the poll, if I can find even one asymmetrical diamond anywhere that shouldn't be rebuilt, I vote "no"?

Why, yes, I did study symbolic logic, why do you ask?
