Third part of the Bay Area trip included a clinch of CA 24:

I'll have a lot more to say about this one once I get to some early California Highway Maps in regards to previous alignments.
Finished my road blog on 24:

I generally talked on the original alignment of 24 to CA 7 near the state line but I felt CAhighways had covered it sufficiently on just linked over the page. I did go through the map history for LRN 75 and LRN 206 west of the Caldecott Tunnels.
It became apparent to me that with these two recent trips to the Bay Area that a lot of the roads of driven would require somewhat old CA 24 blog to be updated. That being the case I kept the current route of CA 24 as it's own blog entry but added context on the original scale of the highway. I linked over five additional blogs which cover former segments of CA 24 in greater detail. I'll likely be adding a sixth blog link once I get through to CA 113. Suffice to say the scale of the 1935 length of CA 24 from Berkeley over the Sierras is massive compared to what it is today.
