So, while poking around on Google Maps for another thread (contributing), I came across this prefix I can't find the complete term for it's called Sfc. In context it is used here (https://www.google.com/maps/@35.1504933,-90.4042751,3a,60y,51.17h,76.96t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sN-UUfG2BW4FbC0mauImA6Q!2e0!7i3328!8i1664).
What county is it in?

What county is it in?
According to Google: St. Francis County, Arkansas.
Then sfc could mean St Francis County then?

County Road Naming
Arkansas county road names are named as CR-### (e.g. CR-110)
County road name designations, such as "County Road ###", "Co Rd ###", "SFC ###", "Lawrence Rd ###", etc. should be transitioned to CR-###, as they are found. This shortened version uses less space on the map screen, and is announced correctly as "County Road ###" while navigating with the Waze app.

But many are too short for true county roads, more like streets inventory where they didn't bother to name them. E.g. SFC120 here:
https://www.google.com/maps/place/St+Francis+County,+AR/@35.0687252,-90.9045158,15z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x87d4fa4ced555f63:0x14677b6158df0ae3!8m2!3d34.9926533!4d-90.7152749
I've seen that prefix in other areas. Counties can have rather odd county road identification schemes.
Hill County, TX uses "HCR". It stands for "Hill County Road"

I don't think that's it. I'm pretty sure it stands for Sergeant First Class.
To me "Sfc," particularly with that capitalization, means "surface." I'm not certain where I got that, but I think it's from my study of meteorology. I'd call that Surface Road 536.
In DOD terminology, it means "Specialist First Class", a non-commissioned rank common to Army, Marines, and USAF.
FWIF, My dad was an US Army Sergeant First Class (SFC), and we had SFC on our ID cards.
