To remove ex-governor Rod Blagojevich's name from the express lane gantries

It's been fun, now get out. :eyebrow:

They will probably burn those signs and not even reuse them for anything that doesn't involve dirty humiliation.  :ded: :wow:

And, how much will they have to raise tolls to change these signs?  :spin:

For the road geeks out there the ISTHA says the overlays will have the plaza name na d# on it.  We could collect pics of them like baseball cards!

Way to go Governor Quinn:

The new signs have the names and numbers of the toll plazas, but not the name of new Gov. Pat Quinn.

Quinn said he does not believe the governor's name needed to be on the signs.

"I don't think the tollway signs or the highway signs of Illinois should be an opportunity to pat a governor on the back," Quinn said at a news conference Friday morning.

Looks like my IL state line photos are historic now :-)

Will Quinn's name appear on signage such as this?

I will have to venture over the the state line on IL 114, when I was through there early last week someone had plowed through the welcome sign and it was gone.  Just two broken wood posted sticking up from the snow.
