Title: "TO AZ 260"
Post by: 404inthe404 on March 10, 2018, 09:35:01 PM
Driving from Phoenix to Winslow, why on earth is the AZ 87 / AZ 260 multiplex now shown as AZ87 only with a "TO: AZ 260" during the concurrency? What does that possibly add?

Really 260 ought to be two routes anyways like it was originally.  East of Payson it used to be AZ 260 and west of the 87 multiplex it was 279.  For the most part 260 is silent north of Payson, I want to say the shield you're talking about was directly after the first two roundabouts north of the city?

My in laws used to have a cabin in Pine and this also surprised me (as I thought it was a multiplex).

It's posted in numerous locations.

At the northern 87/260 junction: https://www.google.com/maps/@34.4543103,-111.438692,3a,15y,225.89h,88.48t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1s9btKGGq8JiMNojuUYXbo9A!2e0!7i13312!8i6656

I believe it's also on the 1st S/B reassurance sign.
