Well here's an update for the narrowest interstate in the Los Angeles area.
Now that section is being updated.

I remember a 2019-2020 completion date though for the Southern part of Los Angeles county and that's been a 6 lane freeway for years.

But it looks horrible because I need to replace the Photobucket images.

Now if they could do something about that 2 lane portion of northbound I-5 through the East LA interchange...

Fun fact: Except for that part in northern OC/southern LA county, I-5 is entirely four lanes each way (eight lanes total) from Wheeler Ridge down to the border.

Except for the transition between the Santa Ana and Golden State freeways at the I-5/I-10/CA 60 "East Los Angeles" interchange, where the through I-5 transition ramps are 2 lanes in each direction.
