Title: Raleigh: I-87, I-540 - What was this abandoned road going to connect to?
Post by: Dustin DeWinn on June 01, 2018, 01:33:42 PM
I frequently pass this when I go to the Triangle area in NC. I've included the link to the map, and 2 images, one in map view and one in sat view with the 3 areas in question circled.

Does anyone know what this was going to connect to? (Click to expand images)

It's going to be 540 if they ever get around to finishing the southern half.
