Title: US 321 Widening Finished in Blowing Rock, NC
Post by: ccurley100 on July 01, 2018, 08:24:33 PM
I drove up there this morning to go hiking. There are few loose ends to take care of but it is 4 lanes all the way up the mountain and there is a new traffic light at 321 Business. https://photos.app.goo.gl/ET1fcSTZvLGF3iW28

Coo.

This should put Boone on the grid even more, and make the drive for Appalachian State University students from the Charlotte area easier.

Nice views on U.S. 321 southbound south of Blowing Rock too.

It's a nicer drive, but a mood-killer getting caught by all of the traffic lights through Blowing Rock, as well as the 35 mph speed limit.

Agreed. The speed limit could easily be raised to 40
