Title: Louisville Flooding 2018
Post by: CardInLex on July 20, 2018, 11:03:35 AM
Google Maps has updated their satellite imagery of the Louisville Metro area. It appears they took the images during the flood earlier this year. Make sure you turn the 3D OFF to see the new images. You can clearly see how much of Louisville was underwater. Water rose so much it forced the closure of the Zorn Avenue exit on I-71 and the Third Street exit on I-64. During the flooding the bridges (Lincoln and Kennedy -- I-65) lost power to their decorative, navigation, and street lighting. These are some amazing images!

I won't be satisfied until it shows the whole city under water.  :-D
