I've been looking for photos of the old two-lane interstates (I-15 ID/MT, I-70 UT, I-77 WV, others?), not finding very many at all. I've seen one of I-70 in Utah (and one of "Temp I-15," which doesn't really count here) in the "Adventures in Utah Signage" thread.
Some of these persisted for quite a while -- any links? Thanks.

Might as well post it (photo credit CL):

The following four links show photos relating to the 2-lane section of I-91 in Derby, VT. Though I-91 was built with 4 lanes at the Canadian border crossing and Exit 29 (Derby Line), it narrowed down to 2 lanes just south of Exit 29. From just south of Exit 29 to today's Exit 28 (Derby/Newport) was the only segment in Vermont built as 2 lanes. It was widened to 4 lanes ca. 1973.

I-80N in Oregon used to have a 2-lane section on the eastern end. No pix of them has ever been seen by me.
