First: I hope I'm not copying the theme of an old thread...
Here are a few sign pictures that are humorous but not erroneous:
These first three are from Clarksville, TN:
From downtown near Austin Peay State University

(Bandit73 also has a photo of one of these banners. I took mine first, he posted his first)
And if finding a place to live is a pain for you, don't move in to one of these places:

I've always enjoyed this sign, for both the humor and the underlying racism (think mascot controversy)...until you realize it's in the middle of the Wind River Indian Reservation, so not so racist

In the early 1970s, Austin Peay had a star basketplayer named James Williams. His nickname was "Fly."
What did their students chant? "Our Fly is open, let's go Peay!"
APSU's nickname is the Governors. I would guess that Austin Peay was an early governor of the Volunteer State.

In a Los Angeles suburb called Monterey Park (not to be confused with Monterey farther north on the coast), there used to be, and it's probably still there, an Asian market called Shun Fat. It was on Atlantic Blvd. just south of I-10, if I'm not mistaken. Perhaps quillz or someone in L.A. can post a picture.

The name of the road is Farmers-Sharkey Road. The sign on the other direction of I-64 has the communities in that order. Farmers is a definable community (junction of KY 801 and US 60) but there really is nothing at Sharkey except the terminus of KY 801 at KY 158. This exit was added a few years ago and KY 801 rebuilt down to US 60 to give access to Cave Run Lake.

Hebrew writing on a falafel shop?
The word those letters spell is "kosher," and for those Jews who observe the dietary laws, that is very important to know. It means that the kitchen is inspected and certified by a rabbi and that any non-kosher items are kept separately from the kosher ones (or that there are no non-kosher items in the shop at all). Besides, falafel is more a middle-eastern food, not necessarily eaten only by Muslims. There are lots of kosher falafel places in New York.
My brother was on a business trip to Hawaii for the past week and this weekend he's taking some extra time to go to the Big Island. Last night he sent a number of pictures of the snowfall on Mauna Kea. He also sent this road sign picture that I immediately knew had to be uploaded here:
(https://www.aaroads.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi31.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fc378%2F1995hoo%2FRoad%2520sign%2520pictures%2Fd282dc50.jpg&hash=1c5f75913b79edf61ba8d4e3d7d1bec2174e7145)
Edited to add: I replied to his e-mail to say how much I loved this sign and his reply said, in pertinent part, "The invisible cows sign is great....and they're not exaggerating. You can't see those f'rs!"
Even though these signs are not humorous to us roadgeeks, to non road people these signs seem to be. Many people find the "REMOVE SUNGLASSES" signs approaching the PA Turnpike tunnels as that.

On Streetview, I saw a sign similar to that one on the off-ramp from NB I-5, but it has Bend instead of Weed.

This is at exit 747.
