Sights:

Entering US-31 North in Carp Lake, MI (south of Mackinaw City) has newly paved blacktop, completed late June 2018. Numerous county roads in east Emmet County have been patched this summer via township road commission. Note the interesting "Fixing 'MI' Roads" signs at these sites. In Petoskey, Lake St. East was recently re-paved in late July 2018. Still, numerous Dialight pedestrian signals remain with burned or skipped countdown segments. In Cheboygan county, numerous road lines were re-painted in late July 2018, specifically in Burt township. West Burt Lake road was reconstructed to repair drainage systems along waterfront property. Near Cheboygan, other street paving began this August.
