It seems that KDOT's on-again/off-again proposal to turn back K-7 through Olathe and moving the designation to K-10 and I-35 is on once again.
Previous thread here (https://www.aaroads.com/forum/index.php?topic=20428.0).
The latest version of KDOT's county may for Johnson County (Dated April 2019) shows K-7 along K-10/I-35 instead of on Parker Street in Olathe.
In addition, on the KDOT GIS site, under projects, there is listed a project labelled "Traffic Signing Plan for K-7 realignment around Olathe." The listed project number is KA-4581-01.
As of yet, I haven't turned up any additional references to that project number, nor any indication that the City of Olathe had ever agreed to take back Parker, and while I think the previous Secretary Richard (not-N9JIG) Carlson could have potentially shoved this down Olathe's throat, I doubt current secretary Lorenz would do so (nor would I think Governor Kelly would allow such a thing to happen)
