Ever since I-15 was built, there has been a business loop in St George, Utah, running along Bluff Street and St George Blvd. When the Dixie Drive interchange was built and the Bluff Street interchange was reconfigured slightly, all the signs for the business loop at exit 6 disappeared. I would dismiss this as Utah being careless with signage (which does happen), but I was looking at the Google Street View on I-15 at exit 8, which indicates the I-15 business route is now a spur (https://goo.gl/maps/ehZbrheceGrF3yYbA).
Is this a thing, or is it just a UDOT mistake? And if it's indeed a spur now, is the west end at Bluff Street or somewhere further east?
I'm going mistake. To wit:
