Title: CA 138
Post by: Max Rockatansky on May 24, 2019, 08:55:15 PM
The last highway I drove this past weekend that I haven't featured in full is CA 138.  CA 138 is an interesting highway in that it runs through some really scenic terrain between Crestline to Cajon Pass and generally isn't very far from the San Andreas Fault.  The alignment history of CA 138 is very strange with all sorts of cancelled projects and ultimately minor realignments.  The best parts of the road definitely came from the 1958 alignment of CA 2 before it was renumbered to CA 138 in 1964.
