The small community of Stanley in western Daviess County has gotten cut off from the rest of the world during several floods in recent years. U.S. 60 floods in a low-lying section between Stanley and the west side of Owensboro. Now, however, KYTC is ready to raise a half-mile section of the road to end the flooding problem.
