Title: I feel like giving up
Post by: traffic light guy on June 26, 2019, 04:12:48 PM
I feel like shutting down my flickr. I'm tired of all the other signal geeks getting opportunities to document rare and old signals. Rare lights from the 1930s and 40s. All I get is a 70s era Eagle install. Eagle flatbacks are nothing special. And people on highway divides tell me to shut up about Eagles, despite them being the oldest signals in my area. I'm tired of this shit. I feel like giving up and shutting down my flickr.

Nobody cares about the Eagle Flatbacks in my area, people are sick of them.

Could be worse. I'm pretty sure the oldest signals in Norman are from the 90s.

You're right, I should be thankful

Or here in North Carolina, where almost every signal signal looks the same. Yellow paint, backs, lenses, 12 inch, etc. And they all look new as well. You'd be extremely hard pressed to find any truly vintage signals here, they're just so hard to come by.

I've been extremely hard on myself since I've been kicked out of Highway Divides
