In addition to a quarter point rate cut, the fed will end quantitative tightening and will stop reducing it's $3.8 trillion asset portfolio. It feels like they are trying to spike the punch bowl one last time before the party ends!

I hope this doesn't make it harder for the Fed to respond once the next recession inevitably hits. Interests have been so low for so long that there's not much room to lower them without going negative.
Hope this does not turn into a flame war because usually people like to bring up the other party when it comes to this, which is regulated by the Federal Reserve.
