Does anyone know when the improvements noted here for 195 actually starts construction?

Especially the Berry Creek interchange and the Direct Connectors from I-35
I would like to know what CAD traffic flow software computed crisscrossing traffic from I-35 to SH195 NB with NB130 to NB I-35 was a good idea.

From personal experience, its down right scary, especially trucks coming down the I30 ramp (doing 70 or 80mph.....gravity kind of takes over) trying to merge into your lane and you are trying to merge into his and you only have an 1/4 of a mile to do it.
Probably not for a few decades on the direct connectors. The Williamson County plan for I-35 (http://ftp.dot.state.tx.us/pub/txdot/my35/capital/implementation-plan/williamson/williamson.pdf, from 2015) indicates that traffic volumes don't warrant it within the 2035 planning horizon. I can't find anything that specifies a timeline for the Berry Creek improvements.
As much as traffic is growing in the area of that intersection something is going to have to be done. Its asinine that NB195 traffic leaving I-35 has to cross over NB130 traffic headed for I-35. TxDot just spend alot of money on the I-610/290 intersection in Houston because that idea did not work.
