Title: Old CA 120/Tioga Pass Road and Old CA 140/Big Oak Flat Road Yosemite entrances

This past October I spent some time tracking down the original alignments of Old CA 120/Old Tioga Pass Road and Old CA 140/Old Big Oak Flat Road to the original Tuolumne County entrances of Yosemite National Park.  The original Big Oak Flat Road was replaced by 1940, it now exists largely as a series of trails in Stanislaus National Forest and the Yosemite Wilderness.  The Old Tioga Pass road was replaced by a new alignment through Crane Flat in the early 1940s.  On the blog below there are map scans showing the original entrance points for CA 140 and CA 120 into Yosemite National Park in addition to a hike on Old CA 140/Old Big Oak Flat Road.
