Title: The history of Lane Markings, according to "The History Guy."

I was going to ask if anyone else has seen this video, but the date on it is marked for today.

I say he has a few things wrong, because I remember seeing double yellow lines before 1971.

Double yellow center lines first appeared as a national standard in the 1961 MUTCD, but were in use in some states before then.  In the 1971 MUTCD, white broken center lines changed to yellow broken center lines.
