Title: Ft Worth, Tx : FM 156 new alignment open
Post by: Brian556 on April 03, 2010, 06:52:13 PM
Due to the Alliance Airport runway extension, FM 156 has been relocated farther west. The realigned section is from Haslet to just south of SH 114. The new road is open, and portions of the old road that will no longer be needed are being removed.

Note: Google maps does not yey show the new alignment.

On Google Maps, you can see that they are now relocating the BNSF mainline west of the Alliance yard, and they are constructing a spur to what appears to be an automobile related facility.

I've always wondered what the autoloaders for the RR looked like.
