Title: Old Missouri River Bridge at Waverly, MO
Post by: Route66Fan on February 08, 2020, 06:31:11 AM
This bridge, Which carried traffic on US 65\24, was in use from 1925 to 2004. This bridge had replaced a ferry that was just to the West of where the bridge was located. I remember crossing this bridge many times.
Video is from 2002.

Next up on "MoDOT's Now-Demolished historic Missouri River bridges":

Miami Bridge/Route 41, 2009
Washington Bridge/Route 47, 2019 demolition videos (https://www.emissourian.com/bridge/video-historic-highway-bridge-blown-up-into-missouri-river/youtube_59331278-5cab-11e9-841a-231e5547b18f.html)
Out of the two I only made it on the Washington, about a year before it's demolition.
