Title: Former US Route 66 and US Route 89 in Williams

Back in 2016 I stayed the night in Williams, Arizona.  Williams likes to boast itself as the last town that was bypassed by Interstate 40 in 1984.  For as much play as US Route 66 gets in Williams it is almost entirely overlooked that US Route 89 lasted even longer in the community.  More so Williams is the southern terminus of the Grand Canyon Railroad which is only enhanced by the fact that the town was an Atlantic & Pacific Railroad siding:
