Title: Old logos still used on signs/billboards
Post by: planxtymcgillicuddy on April 03, 2020, 03:36:06 PM
What are some old logos you've seen on signs/billboards in your travels as of late? At I-77 exit 36 (https://www.google.com/maps/@35.6028862,-80.859458,3a,15y,219.27h,95.52t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sQ0L5XMfTTOIVuCu1HHo4rw!2e0!7i16384!8i8192) near Mooresville, old Hooters and Circle K signs are still on the service sign

There are still plenty of italic Subway signs about.

Older Pennsylvania Department of Highways logo found on a right turn signal sign:

look at the tiny circle on the bottom that says "PDH".

A lot of McDonald's in Southern California still sport the older single arch design.

I was surprised how quickly the Kent, Washington Econolodge sign was blacked out when it was turned into a Covid 19 shelter, and it was removed without a trace on Google Maps, but it is still on the logo signs.

Heh...stayed there once since I didn't want to deal with getting out of Seattle everyday on a trip.
