A bridge has collapsed in Italy and its the biggest road disaster in the country since 2018. Note if COVID-19 stay at home orders didn't happen in Italy then more people would have been killed on that bridge.

Must've been ready to go for awhile if it fell apart with only two vehicles on it. Those support columns looked pretty ornate, that definitely gives the 1908 design away. The road deck is way more modern and looked a little more recent than just after WWII.

I'm just going to leave this here as one of the most awful, heartless things ever posted in this forum. I think anyone would trade tens to hundreds of thousands of deaths, plus the drastic quarantine measures and millions upon millions of lost jobs, for a few deaths and injuries.

True too given that Italy is still dealing with their local fallout to COVID-19 too.
