For 128, probably 40, though I don't know an example off the top of my head. For I-495, I think something is 55, but I'm not sure.

Yeah, that one. Are any other roads 55 or even 50?
MA 9?

MA 18/28 south of Bridgewater and US 44 east of Middleborough are at least partially posted for 50.
Inside 128 you've got a 50 zone on MA 28 through the Blue Hills.
Inside 495 to my knowledge you've got 55 zones on US 1 in Newbury, MA 106 in Easton, MA 138 in Easton, MA 139 between Holbrook and Abington, and MA 27 in Medfield. There's probably more.

I think you covered all of them, and I even forgot/didn't know a couple of those.
MA 1A in Newbury has a short stretch posted at 50, just south of the Parker river

Also got two 50 zones on 133 in Ipswich and Essex.
This is gonna be a pretty long thread if we just start naming every 50 zone inside of 495. They aren't exactly unusual. It's the 55s that are notable.
If you're curious, here is the state wide speed limit map by town.

Thanks for sharing! I had no idea such a thing existed!
I've seen it before, but I don't know how accurate it is. MA 110/113 in Methuen and Haverhill is 45, not 50.

Agreed!
And using that map to return to the thread topic, it appears to confirm the only 50 zone within 128 as 28 in the Blue Hills, and my list of 55 zones within 495 as accurate.

How rare are 45 zones inside 128?
