Title: McKinley Grove Road and Courtright Way
Post by: Max Rockatansky on May 30, 2020, 06:13:31 PM
This week I took a trip up to Sierra National Forest during a heatwave in the Fresno Area.  Specifically I took McKinley Grove Road from Dinkey Creek east to the Wishon Reservoir and Courtright Way north to the Courtright Reservoir.  Along the way I stopped at the 1938 Dinkey Creek Bridge and McKinley Grove of Sequoias.  The 1938 Dinkey Creek Bridge can be found on the original alignment of McKinley Grove Road is probably worth the journey alone to see unto itself.  Both the Wishon Dam and Courtright Dam have single lane alignments topping both structures.
