Does anyone know of a better way, other than Wikipedia, of finding out what US routes have Split routes? Like US 31E-US 31W for example. Existing and former ones are requested. Looking up each one individually is taking a long time. Or if you know examples, please list them here. Also, the Alternate, Bypass and Business routes. I got the list of existing and former US Routes.
This is for working on the US Route Reworked project I am working on in the Fiction section.
I appreciate the feedback.

N-S splits.
70 (which is unusual in that it didn't split into two branches, but it kept the main number along with the N and S branches. Also, the N and S split routes begin and end at different places.
There are business and/or bypass routes in Kentucky for a number of US routes. Some routes have multiple of them. The only alternates we have in Kentucky are 41 (two of them) and 60.
Back in the 60s and 70s, North Carolina used to split US routes into Business and By-Pass banners. There was no straight non-bannered route with one bannered route. Kentucky doesn't split into Business and By-Pass (although some locations may be signed that way.) You either have the "plain" route and a Business designation (designated nnX in official logs), or the "plain" route and a By-Pass designation (designated nnB).
Would 9 and 9W in the Hudson River valley be part of this?

The list on us-highways.com misses a TON of bannered (mostly ALT) routes from SC, NC and VA that used to exist...

A few days ago, I was reminded that US-501 north of Durham is still separated into By-Pass US-501 (Duke Street) and Business US-501 (North Roxboro Street). But once it hits I-85, the By-Pass banner is dropped and it becomes a plain route I-85/US-70/US-15/US-501. After the unmarked Western Boulevard splits off, it simply becomes US-15/US-501 (locally known as "Fifteen-Five-O-One"). Since the northernmost section of 15-501 runs between Duke and UNC, a friend of mine always asks me if this is the real "Tobacco Road", to which I answer "perhaps".
