Over the years, my family and I have often driven I-35 between Des Moines and Minneapolis, whenever we visit relatives in Minnesota. I was just thinking about the sign for one of the exits along that stretch - namely, the sign for Exit 26 in Minnesota, which leads to MN 30. The two town names on that sign are New Richland and Blooming Prairie, which have a combined 26 letters in total. I've always thought that that particular sign has to be one of the top contenders for the freeway exit sign with the most letters on it. What, and where, might some of the other candidates be?
(Just to be clear: when I talk about exit signs, for the purposes of this post, I'm referring only to the main sign that appears at the exit itself, and not to any of the smaller, supplementary signs leading up to the exit.)

There is a "Los Osos Valley Road / Baywood Park" exit in San Luis Obispo, California. It is also a place where two Motel 6s are visible from the same overpass.
I remember driving along US-101 with my then girlfriend and her daughter. She mentioned that we could stop at the beach on the second next exit. I asked her which beach. She said that, being from Pennsylvania, she should couldn't say it. It was "San Buenaventura Beach". If it also gave a street name, it would have been a contender.
Lots of freeway-to-freeway connectors in California are going to have a large number of letters.

Some of the BGSs in New York City may well qualify for this list because of their peculiar habit of putting the highway's name (such as "Bklyn-Qns Expwy") on their signs, combined with some long names used as control points (things like "Verrazano Br" combined with other locations).
