Title: Google Streetview images that are tilted
Post by: SoDakInterstateEnthusiast on August 20, 2020, 08:50:23 PM
I was reading through the oldest posts to the Worst of Road Signs thread and one of the links that was supposed to link to a Google Streetview showing a bad sign rather showed this:

Seriously, what happened to that camera car? Did the cam break off its post? Did the car fall over in the middle of the tunnel? That's the worst I've ever seen on Streetview. Any others you guys found?

For reference, the camera tilts in Google Streetview usually occur in the older street views and its usually a very small amount, like this:

I've driven here before. It's completely level here.

The first place I thought when I spotted this thread was this road (https://www.google.es/maps/@41.4520937,-2.48244,3a,75y,130.83h,82.93t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1s8c8cMF3WUGuYpuczzB-cdg!2e0!7i16384!8i8192), but it appears not to be tilted, only misaligned.

I remember some low overpass in or near Pittsburgh where Mr. Google had to turn down the camera mast, resulting in tilted images.
