Title: FL rest areas
Post by: allniter89 on September 13, 2020, 10:16:35 PM
AFAIK FL is the only state to have automated windshield washes in its rest areas & FL Tpk service areas. They're usually located on the exit of the rest area, u stop in the signed area & the windshield is sprayeed automatically, the 18 wheeler also has this. I imagine this is a result of the "love bug" in May & Sept. It works pretty good b/c it is a powerful stream of water.

Only in the Panhandle and at Florida's Turnpike Service Plazas. Would be great if they implemented these along I-75 and I-95 for Love Bug season (which is again underway).
