Title: NJ Turnpike Authority website finally updated
Post by: NJRoadfan on May 04, 2010, 04:24:15 PM
http://www.state.nj.us/turnpike/

Really fancy with CSS and such.

They even got some historic information links

Parkway: http://www.gsphistory.com/home.htm

Turnpike: http://www.jerseyhistory.org/what_exit/index.html

I actually have a lot of photos taken from the "What Exit?" exhibit when it was at the NJ Historical Society in Newark back in 2002. Quite a bit of rare Turnpike memorabilia was there.

They also have a direct link to all of the traffic cameras in NJ.  Talk about snazzy!

That actually has been available for a while on the NJ511 traffic info page:
http://www.511nj.org/

Took them forever, but NJ finally has a unified ITS portal for end users.

Keep watching... the trend toward unification and web-based portals is accelerating in NJ.
