Roads signed with Begin and END.

I do not like the use of BEGIN and END plaques for freeway-type roads.
Wish all states would adopt the Caltrans-style signage to show drivers where limited-access roads begin and end, and entrances to limited-access roads - BEGIN FREEWAY (R 57 (CA)), END FREEWAY (R 58 (CA)) and FREEWAY ENTRANCE (G 92 (CA)).
Or these white-on-green signs from some EU nations, which IMO are pretty clear:
Begin (or entering) motorway (https://korkortonline.se/images/vagmarken/E1-1.svg)
End (or exiting) motorway (https://korkortonline.se/images/vagmarken/E2-1.svg)
Minnesota has this in a few places.
MN 7/Hennepin County 25
MN 100/Hennepin County 34
Ramsey/Anoka County 10 at the county line, even though the overall number stays the same
I-494/694 at the Woodbury changeover
One of each on the same post in Lynnwood, WA:

The other direction used to have the opposite, but one of the shields has since gone missing:

I don't see how the EU signs are more clear than BEGIN or END. The EU signs look like overpass signs to me.
Another case with BEGIN and END on the same assembly, SR-205 and SR-327 near Garrett, IN: https://goo.gl/maps/gDSb6Lz8CgdVTEGb8

In the Denver metro area, we have a End I-270 and Begin West US 36 (https://www.google.com/maps/@39.8280211,-104.9801055,3a,44.7y,281.64h,91.86t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1sOgxubP0kicmKQKSRKKtfdg!2e0!6s%2F%2Fgeo1.ggpht.com%2Fcbk%3Fpanoid%3DOgxubP0kicmKQKSRKKtfdg%26output%3Dthumbnail%26cb_client%3Dmaps_sv.tactile.gps%26thumb%3D2%26w%3D203%26h%3D100%26yaw%3D28.890533%26pitch%3D0%26thumbfov%3D100!7i16384!8i8192).
Eastbound, we only have an I-270 East Begin (https://www.google.com/maps/@39.827435,-104.9841571,3a,68.7y,82.41h,86.29t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sCOz8oULuspVHfNsUip78vw!2e0!7i16384!8i8192). This is accurate since US 36, while unsigned, overlaps I-270/I-70 east to Byers.
Southbound I-95 has a begin sign at the border in Houlton, ME and an end sign in Miami.
NB 95 has an end sign in Houlton, but no corresponding begin sign.
Edit: Fixed state abbreviation

I believe you mean Houlton,
ME. I-95 doesn't go to Minnesota.

My apologies, fixed. That's what I get for trying to do state abbreviations from memory.

I also like that this sign assembly has Chicago, Cleveland, Toledo and Detroit mentioned on it.
