Title: Streetview on Unopened Roads
Post by: seicer on November 22, 2020, 09:41:11 AM
How often is it that you see streetview on unopened freeways or roads? This example in Ecuador is interesting as the road is seemingly not finished but there are nice streetviews in both directions: https://goo.gl/maps/QS2U37Q774pPXcCR9

Edit: I guess it opened (this year?): https://www.obraspublicas.gob.ec/anillo-vial-de-quevedo-tramo-ii-se-abrio-al-paso-vehicular/

Rebar sticking out at the on-ramp (https://goo.gl/maps/FFWTnKZpWPmdfzBs9) can be seen here, as well as a sign prohibiting entry by unauthorized persons.  A few months later, with no apparent improvements and the sign still in place, the driver made it up anyway (https://goo.gl/maps/VrhRWVDnNu98sZWv6).

I like how GSV of an off-limits road was taken at multiple times.

And this nearby section of highway (https://www.google.com/maps/@-0.9760058,-79.4651754,3a,90y,59.25h,74.82t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1suYbwsGym07tziQxp7wwCng!2e0!7i13312!8i6656) looks even less finished.

Was M29 in Ukrane never fully opened? Note traffic is two-way on the northbound carriageway.

WSDOT SRweb view of uncompleted future US 395 North Spokane Corridor.  The driver was determined to take the entire mileage.
