Title: Reverse mileposting vs. exits
Post by: Alps on February 02, 2021, 11:39:21 PM
I-780 CA is unusual in that mileposts increase from east to west (a relic of being I-680) but the newly assigned exit numbers increase from west to east. Is there another freeway where the exits go opposite the mileposts?

The French A63 does this. The (sequential) exit numbers start at the Spanish border, but km-posts start at A630 around Bordeaux.

Not physically mileposted, but in the CTDOT Highway Log, I-691 and CT 72 (currently) are.  CT 72 will soon be corrected.

I think the milepoints are backwards on I-795 in North Carolina, but not sure about the exit numbers.
