I think goat cheese is pretty solid. If not that, then cheddar cheese works well too. Also spinach, mushroom, bacon bits.
And my omelettes have to be at least 3 eggs, 2 eggs is too small.
Ham and cheddar cheese.
Cheddar cheese and smothered in chili. I'm not so picky about what else is in there.
Lots of veggies, cheese, sausage and bacon.
I absolutely love omelettes, there truly are near-limitless possibilities as far as ingredients go.
In the omelettes I've eaten, I typically fancy ingredients such as cheese, spinach, ham, mushrooms, black olives, etc.
It's been too long since I've been to IHOP, I always loved getting the custom-made omelettes there.
My favorite was always the Italian Omelette. Quite a few diners serve them back east. But here in the boring region I live in, the one restaurant I could find that had them, closed in recent years.
IHOP used to have a black bean omelette that I liked. Funny how my favorite food choices from restaurants just tend to up and disappear.

Unless they've changed recently, you can still create your own.
Philly cheese steak omelette from Waffle House any day
Cheese, some substantial meat (bacon would often resort in not enough meat), and maybe some vegetables.
Denver omelet please thank u. :spin:
Farmer's omelete.
A good Spanish omelette has eggs, potatoes and (this is a matter of dispute) onion. And nothing else. I've seen some terrorist attacks to that, what an eyesore they were.
bacon and cheddar

Same here and add some veggies, too. Usually some combination of mushrooms/onions/green peppers.
Anything. Never had an omelette I didn't like.
Well, keep the broccoli and asparagus and other wacky stuff out, I guess.
A woman.
Let's get off this woman topic.
Nothing. I don't eat eggs. They are vile and disgusting.
Vegetables, a lot of onions because onions are the best!!!, tomatoes are good too!, ham, bacon, cheese *fat people omlette*

Maybe raw, but cooked in an omelette? That is about as harmless as a food can get.
ON or IN?
Inside: sausage and cheese.
On top? Nothing ( or a few shreds of cheese)

Wow, standards are really slipping.
This thread is a disaster.

I had an omelette today from Mighty Subs in Needham with peppers, sausage, and cheese. It was good.

Wow...
Not only have you gotten over the "everyone hates me" hissy fit from the other day, but now you're revealing excellent taste in food too. My, how I'm seeing you in a different light recently!
Not sure if anyone's ever had the Granny's Country Omelet from Perkins, but they put hash browns inside the omelet and it's pretty darn tasty.
Chris
I like Philly cheese steak omelettes. I like the cheese steak omelette they have at Waffle House.

Yes and no. But seemingly we've been getting back on topic again.
Does anyone have anything a bit unusual they like on omelettes? I have a fascination with goat's cheese on my omelette, which I still think is a bit of an odd one.
