Opposite of the "Minor Things That Bother You" thread. Here are some of mine:
- When you pay for something with a gift card, and left on the card afterwards is just a couple of cents (or nothing)
- 75 cent large drinks at Buc-ee's
- When you're playing around with an instrument and you accidentally discover a riff or melody to your favorite song
Waking up before your alarm rings and being able to go back to sleep.
Overhead air vents in planes. So many airlines decide to not install them for some reason.
When you take a vehicle in for service, and you estimate an amount in your head only to have it come in lower!

Seconded.
Throwing something into the trash from a long distance and totally nailing it.
I've been buying certified pre-owned cars for years now, but there is something to be appreciated about "new car smell"
On the topic of smells, I like the smell at sports equipment stores. Must be the smell of new shoes or something.
the smell of freshly laid blacktop

I miss this. It's tougher going back to sleep as I get older.
On the other hand, I do feel a tiny bit victorious if I wake up 15-45 minutes early and if I feel rested. I feel like I beat the system and now I can do whatever I want.
When I turn off the alarm after waking up early, I sometimes forget to re-enable it the next day, unfortunately.

You should join Toastmasters. I was extremely shy, didn't even date until I was 23. It really helped me overcome it, I've been a member for 26 years now.

This is true, sans the autism part. I can't relate there. Especially when they actually
want to talk. And not because you forced them or because they want "something" from you.
I guess Dave Edmunds was right about Girls Talk ;)
