Title: Freeware video editing software...
Post by: bugo on June 12, 2010, 06:39:45 PM
That will let you embed pictures in the video.  Anyone know of one?   I want to put small route shields in my videos.  I hear AVS can do it but it's not freeware and the program sucks anyway.

Here's an example of the shields that I want to do:

I want to make my shields much smaller and in the bottom corner, but otherwise I want something similar to this.

I've always used Adobe Premiere, but it's not free. I'll bet you can get a demo though.

Other than that, I've never used any other software. Start working through this list though and you may find one that works for you (there are a number of free ones)

I know Jim uses a version of Final Cut.

I'd like to do that, have the shield on the clip, rather than having to cutaway to do it. But since I'm using MovieMaker, I've no other alternative.

Be well,
