Title: Traffic signals where visor(s) are oriented irregularly
Post by: andrepoiy on July 03, 2021, 04:46:02 PM
Here is a signal in which the visors are oriented so that a particular direction of cars do not see the light.

This is at Major Mackenzie Drive and Wellness Way.

Showcase any other strange visor configurations here!

Where Pioneer Way meets River Road (WA-167) near Tacoma, the closeness of the road angle means that offset tunnel visors are used to discourage traffic from looking at the other signal:

Custom-made for that driveway where the black car is.  I don't recall seeing anything like that before.

Meant to say "cutaway visor". Notice the visor is longer on one side. Aka, "offset".

Apparently whoever parks in that driveway can't turn right into it on red.
