Title: Historical Interstate Highway maps?
Post by: HandsomeRob on August 03, 2021, 02:43:35 PM
Hi all,
I am working on some research for a client and I have run into a snag that I thought maybe someone here could help me with. I need to find the extent of the interstate highway system that was constructed in 1960 and 1970 -- If anyone has access to a United States road map from 1960 and 1970 that shows what portions of the IHS are complete in those yeras I'd love it if you could scan them and send them to me. Otherwise, if you know of any source material that could help me I'd appreciate it.

Thanks.

Others might be able to help more easily, but I'm sure there are Rand McNally atlases from that time frame on sale on eBay.

Did around for DOT specific materials on David Rumsey and archive.org.  I've had a lot success with both.
