Title: Arlington, TX: Interchange with Button Copy and Ghost Ramps
Post by: Brian556 on October 16, 2021, 09:54:39 PM
The interchange on SH 180 (FMR US 80) at Dottie Lynn Pkwy / Green Oaks Blvd/ Cooks Ln has multiple button copy signs. The ones that have SH 180 signs on them appear unmodified, indicating that these signs were likely installed in the early 90's, in the final years of button copy. This interchange also has ghost ramps.

Weird ghost ramps. Wonder what those could have been for.

Looks like there may have been originally a planned parkway/expressway going up Cooks Ln. You can see a curved ROW that looks like it was meant for an exit from Dottie Lynn south going to Cooks Ln north.
