Title: I-35E three lane expansion at Hillsboro

"Existing bridges along this section (at FM 2959, FM 934 and White Rock Creek) will also be replaced with new structures and new ramps, which will be widened to accommodate the added lanes. The elevated access ramp from I-35E to southbound I-35 will also be replaced with a new structure. A concrete barrier wall will separate eastbound and westbound mainlanes instead of the current cable barrier."

Didn't they just replaced this bridge 7 or 8 years ago?

on desktop google maps allows you to view previous years of streetview it is there as of 2009. I think it was replaced mid 2000s. This is the last section between Dallas and Hillsboro needing reconstruction to 3 by 3 lane configuration. TXDOT started at I 20 to Red Oak in the early 2000s and mid 2000s just south of Waxahachie to Hill county line in mid to late 2000s. The bypass around Waxahachie is mostly complete with north and south having 3 lanes open each way as of March 2022.

I think it was replaced mid 2000s.

2007, I believe.

For example, this creek culvert (https://www.city-data.com/bridges/bridges-Hillsboro-Texas.html#91100001424491) on the south end of the interchange is listed with a completion date of 2007.

Also, when the property upon which the TA truck stop was eventually built was put up for sale (https://www.loopnet.com/Listing/14773044/Hwy-77-I-35-Hillsboro-TX/#), the description included the following:  "Construction improvements on this interchange under way and widening of Interstate to four lane each direction to be completed in 2007".
